SOGI MESS Set To Go
CANADA ANNOUNCES:
WORLD'S FIRST GLACIAL REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
Prime Minister Trudeau announced today an extraordinary project, starting almost immediately, the world's first glacier preservation plan. Fittingly in the country that invented ice hockey, Canada would again lead the world, this time in advanced ice technology. Prime Minister Trudeau said the massive contract will go to SMC-Lavalin, a Montreal based, world class engineering and contracting company. Although no tenders were let for the job, the Prime Minister explained to us that bids were not needed and Lavalin was pre-awarded the contract even though the bill has not passed. It was a perfect fit based on their past experience Trudeau said. No price was attached to the project as Office of the Prime Minister informed the press that the company would be paid on an open-ended "time and materials" basis with Lavalin submitting annual bills. Mr. Trudeau assured us that SMC-Lavalin would treat us fairly and said Lavalin has agreed to try to keep the total bill under one trillion or so Canadian dollars (750 Billion $USD) with no finish date time frame. Lavalin representatives were unavailable for comment and Mr. Trudeau refused to answer any more financially oriented questions
Here's how it will work:
The Project: Called Save Our Glacial Ice - Make Everything Seem Safe.
A giant undertaking to install an enormous system large enough to actually cool and reverse the effects of global warming.
Trudeau hopes SOGI-MESS will appeal to the western voters by placing the actual refrigeration machinery within the borders of land-locked Alberta. The gigantic diesel engines, (with the combined horsepower the size of nearly 23,000 modern cruise ships) running on Alberta oil which; since they otherwise have no exporting pipeline, would normally go to waste.
The refrigeration lines, carrying only harmless ammonia will extend to Canada's polar region and transport the refrigerant to the polar ice cap through a complex series of interlaced pipes that will blanket a substantial area south of the North Pole encompassing some 10 million hectares.
Trudeau explained that "...since the temperature of the vast area would now be kept relatively constant, the surface could then be flooded with desalinated sea water or melted glacier water and groomed into an enormous 100,000 sq. km skating surface complete with a gigantic 200 km wide Canada red maple leaf emblem, easily visible even from outer space." "The nice thing with this plan is we keep the polluting diesels where they belong, in Alberta, and closer to the fossil fuel there, while the rink is far away and in perfectly clean air!" Trudeau said. This fits with past Liberal ideals such as electric cars whereby the cars themselves do not pollute, just the huge new power plants needed to meet their needs.
The Frank J. Zamboni & Co., Inc of California has already expressed interest in maintaining the ice surface, but has requested, in fairness, that there not be any competitive bidding allowed since there was none required of SMC-Lavalin. In winter, when the machinery may not be needed to preserve the ice cap, some Alberta oil may be shipped by Uber Transport to Ontario for refining. Of course the resulting gasoline and home heating oil will be heavily taxed to ensure the success of the SOGI-MESS northern project at all costs
Ice golf is another possibility for the region. U.S. President Donald Trump has shown interest in building one or more hotels here. Smart guy!
"Win win... this will be huge." said US president Donald Trump.
In past years the Liberal government's relentless efforts to convince us that the polar ice caps are in danger of disappearing have largely fallen on deaf ears, especially when they equate that with wanting to tax carbon dioxide.
This way we all win...
Do the math.
Ice time, even in 'off hours' rents out in Toronto at approximately $100 per hour per rink. Now imagine this: 1 hectare is 6.592702090 times the size of a Hockey rink so if SOGI-MESS becomes a reality, Canada will have the equivalent of over 60 million ice hockey rinks available to rent out at $100 per hour! (nearly 3 hockey rinks for every Canadian) Even the Russians are interested in renting ice time according to Justin Trudeau. The potential rental income alone should convince even the most skeptical of the validity of his plan.
Although this massive project will generate millions of tons of CO2, both during its construction, and also in its ongoing operation, the Liberals plan to tax every Canadian manufacturer and producer of carbon dioxide, thereby generating a huge amount of revenue which they can use to fund the SOGI-MESS project on an ongoing basis. The project will also create jobs for thousands of Canada's unemployables and 'street people' through a side-project called HAWCB (Hire Anyone Who Can Breathe)
TAXING THE CARBON
"Wait until they start taxing the air that we breathe"
A spokesperson for the activist group WUTSTA (Wait Until They Start Taxing Air) adds the following information leaked from the Office of the Prime Minister:
Humans breathe in oxygen and breathe out the dreaded carbon dioxide on about a 50:50 ratio. Due to things like different levels of exertion and other factors such as lung volume and health conditions, age, size, even one's occupation etc. quantifying and taxing individual output of CO2 has been challenging and not popular. "Wait until they start taxing the air that we breathe" has up until now been only a sarcastic prediction, but could be a stark reality in the near future if the Trudeau plan is passed through Parliament. The challenge for the Liberals has been: "How do we tax a baby's breath compared to for example, the profuse carbon output of the average politician?"
Babies and politicians will have an exemption or a lower carbon tax rate than other Canadians" said the Prime Minister. Then we will initially strike an average (lung volume) for everyone else but we're not ruling out more precise meters and measurements, like the planned Canadian bureaucratic agency, the Department Of Natural Emissions. DONE for short. DONE plans wrist/ankle 'FitBit' style bracelets or even mandatory embedded chips which will not only measure carbon dioxide, but also methane and other noxious fumes emitted by humans and cows for future tax consideration
It's not just manufacturers that will be taxed to finance the project... and not just humans and animals... but trees give off CO2 at night and oxygen during the day but the two don't cancel out. According to the Liberals, only the CO2 is damaging the Earth's atmosphere so trees play a significant role in the degradation of life on the planet. Most of the trees in Canada however, are in remote areas, owned by our own government and therefore cannot be taxed so Trudeau suggested that most of them be cut down and perhaps exported to USA as softwood and hardwood lumber. Of course there are more trees than could ever be utilized in the timber industry, some of them could also be burnt by Canadian citizens who can no longer afford other energy sources to heat their homes in winter.
The good news is SOGI-MESS will initially only cost about $33,000 per citizen and would create a vast bureaucracy requiring hundreds, maybe thousands of new hires through HAWCB and DONE. Combine that with blockbuster skating rinks and golf courses of truly mega proportions complete with hotels, and the rinks are accessible 'free of charge' to all Canadians. Factor in the potential for international 'ice-rink tourism' and you have a magnificent formula for success according to the Liberals.
The real ramifications and benefits of SOGI-MESS are nearly impossible to fathom.
